TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COK LOAN FOR HOME & SOLAR ENERGY PROMOTION
- This Promotion shall feature loans in the featured categories: mortgages, home equity, home improvement, solar energy loans and Unsecured loans inclusive of house deposit loans. Where
automatic entries are gained when an above-mentioned loan has been disbursed within the promotional period June 21, 2024 to November 29, 2024. These participants will be eligible
for entry in the respective monthly as well as the grand draws for this promotion. - The Promotion will be opened to all eligible COK Sodality members island-wide.
- Non-members may fulfill conditions for membership and apply for COK Home Loans, Solar loans and Unsecured loans under existing COK Sodality assessment terms, and qualify for
entry into the promotion, once the loan has been disbursed during the promotional period June 21, 2024 to November 29, 2024. - The above-mentioned draw dates may be subject to change due any extenuating circumstances.

HOW TO ENTER
- Member should meet qualifying conditions for the loan and submit loan application with required documents.
PRIZES
Prizes will be disseminated to the winning members’ preferred COK Sodality branch as per below:

Grand Draw:
▪ 1st prize: Bedroom set valued at $323,000.00, to be purchased by COK
Sodality from Singer Jamaica Limited. This includes: bedframe, mattress
and chest of drawers.
▪ 2nd prize: An all-inclusive vacation weekend (3 days, 2 nights) for two at
SeaGarden Beach Resort valued at $179,000; valid for one year. The
following are the blackout dates where reservations cannot be made:

▪ Kindly note that taxes or fees are covered by SeaGarden, therefore COK
Sodality or the 2nd place winner will not be responsible for this cost.

air condition unit, valued at $66,000.
▪ Monthly prize:
- Main prize: gift voucher valued at $10,000 for one member redeemable at
Singer Jamaica. For purchases over $10,000, the winner must pay the
difference.
Photographs and videos of presentation of prizes will be taken for promotional purposes
SELECTION OF WINNERS
Monthly Draws & Grand Draw:
- There is no rollover of entries each month for any selected monthly winner. Once
a participant has been deemed a winner in a monthly draw, that individual will not
be eligible for any future monthly draw, except in the grand draw. The
participant’s information shall therefore be removed from the database of
participants. - For the grand prize, all the members, including winners, who participated in
the monthly draws will be eligible to enter. - Monthly draws will take place at 4:00 p.m., at COK Sodality’s office, 66 Slipe
Road, Kingston 5, on the 5th working day of each month as per the table below:

- Grand draw will take place on the 6th working day of the following month at the end of the promotional period at 3:00 p.m., at COK Sodality’s Head Office, 66
Slipe Road, Kingston 5, on December 06, 2024. - For the monthly draw, two additional entries will be drawn, to be used as back-up if for any extenuating circumstance the winner is unable to accept the
prize. - For the grand draw, an additional entry will be drawn for each of the three categories, to be used as back-up if for any extenuating circumstance the winner is
unable to accept the prize. A similar procedure for contacting member will be utilized. - Winners will be contacted via telephone, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., at the number provided, no later than one working day after the draw has
taken place. A maximum of three calls will be made to the winner each day, for a maximum three consecutive working days. Message will be left on last attempt
and member given five working days to contact COK Sodality. Failure to do so, the member would have forfeited the prize. - If a member is unable to accept prize, the associated back up entrant will be awarded the prize. Should the associated back up entrant also decline the aforementioned request, the prize will be retained by the Credit Union.
- Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the notification of winning.
- Winners are asked to visit a mutually agreed COK Sodality Co-operative Credit Union Limited branch and present a valid government of Jamaica issued
identification to claim prizes. ID’s considered are as follows: National/voter’s ID, Driver’s License and valid Jamaican Passport. This clause does not include the 1st
place prize; the collection of this prize will be communicated after the winner has been confirmed and visits COK Sodality’s Head Office (66 Slipe Road, Kingston
5) with a valid ID. - Transport/delivery of prizes and its associated costs are not included in the prize.
All winners are therefore required to provide transportation and arrange delivery
of prizes to the desired destination at their own cost.
OTHER RULES OF THE PROMOTION
- During the promotional period, all qualified members whose loan has been applied for and disbursed will be eligible for participation in the monthly and grand draws.
- Members must be of qualified age under COK Sodality existing assessment terms.
- For the grand prize, all the members including monthly winners who participated in the monthly draw and remain in good standing (compliant with KYM policy, meets financial
obligation if the member has another loan(s), meets the requirement/standard mode of entry) with the Credit Union will be eligible. - Winners should agree to the use of their names, photographs and videos for the Credit Union’s publicity purposes, at no cost. Failing this, they forfeit their prize and the
associated back up entrant will be awarded the prize. Should the associated back up entrant also decline the aforementioned request, the prize will be retained by the Credit Union. - Employees, contractors, volunteers and contracted workers of COK Sodality Cooperative Credit Union, SeaGarden Beach Resort, Singer Jamaica, all advertising and media
partners and their immediate family members (spouses/children/siblings) are not eligible to enter. Once received, where possible prizes are transferable. - Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Participants are able to gain entry in the competition through conducting business at any COK Sodality Cooperative Credit Union branch locations, which are listed below:
